An established and reputed institute is looking to expand it buildings and accommodation. Over the many years innumerable lives have been shaped and invaluable exchange of information has taken place in these premises. There is a sense of fondness with which alumni look back on their alma mater. Most of the buildings in place are several decades old. How do we, from the 21st century ensure that the dynamics are still in place while choosing a contemporary vocabulary?

The LIBA block is designed to have breakout spaces and interaction nodes, that look into the courtyard. corridors lead out to the student plaza and the auditorium block. The library is designed to be a part of the plaza by looking down on it. The future will find this to be a vibrant campus abuzz in the quest of knowledge. In all zeitgeist, the spirit of the place remains unaltered.
